Mooli Paratha (Mooli Ka Paratha Recipe)

Parathas are very popular in North India and Punjab for breakfast, potato parathas, peas parathas, and fenugreek parathas (Theple) are made in almost every house during winter. Today we are telling you the method of making mooli parantha (mooli ka paratha), which is very popular in North India. Although there are two methods of making radish parathas, 1 stuffed paratha and 2 grated radishes are made by kneading them in flour.

Serving method

Serve hot Mooli paratha with vegetables, tomato chutney, or pickle.

Ingredients required for Mooli Paratha

Wheat flour                     150 grams
Radish                              02 (grated)
Carom seeds                    ¼ tsp
Green chili                       02 (chop finely)
Red chili powder             01 tsp
Turmeric Powder            01 tsp
salt                                   as per taste
Olive oil                           03 tbsp

Mooli Paratha Recipe

Step-01
Preparation

First, wash the radish and grate it. Finely chop the green chilies and keep them aside.

Step-02
Knead the dough

Now take wheat flour in a big bowl according to the quantity mentioned above, add grated radish, salt as per taste, carom seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and green chilies.
Add 1 tsp oil to it and mix well. Add water little by little to the mixed ingredients and knead the dough, knead the dough a little hard. Cover it with a cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes, this time is sufficient for the dough to set.

Step-03
Make parathas

Now the dough is ready. Heat the griddle on the gas. Divide the dough into equal pieces and make round balls. Take it out dry on a plate. Now wrap the dough ball in dry flour and with the help of a rolling pin, roll it into a diameter of about 2-3 inches.
Again lap dry dough and make a roti shape (approx 6-7 inches)

Step-04
Roast parathas

Now your griddle is hot with good turkey, turn the flame to medium. Put the paratha in it and roast it, if it roasts on one side, turn it over and apply oil on the upper surface. When the paratha is cooked, turn it over and apply oil on the other side. Roast the paratha till it turns light brown on both sides.

Serve parathas

Now the paratha is ready, serve it hot with tomato sauce, green chutney, curd, or pickle.
