Ingredients for Paneer Pulao recipe

Basmati rice                         200 grams
Paneer                                  250 grams
Onion                                    01 medium size, (cut lengthwise)
 Green peas                          1/4 cup (optional)
Cumin                                   1/2 tsp
Cinnamon                             1/2 inch piece
Cloves                                   2,3
Black pepper                        6-7
Green chili                           2,3 (chopped)
Oil                                        01 tbsp
Oil                                        01 tbsp (for frying paneer)
Ginger                                  1. 5-inch piece (grated) (Or make a paste by crushing )
 Garlic                                   4,5 (crush)
water                                    as required
Bay leaf                                02
Lemon juice                         01 tsp
Salt                                       as required

How to make Paneer Pulao

Step-01
Preparation

First of all, wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 40 minutes.
Now cut the paneer into ½ inch pieces, put olive oil in a pan, and heat it. When the oil becomes slightly hot, put paneer pieces in it and fry till they turn light brown on both sides. Keep the fried paneer pieces aside.
Cut the onion into fine lengths, and chop the cinnamon into fine pieces.

Step-02
Cook rice

Now put the pressure cooker on low flame, add 1 tbsp oil in it, and when the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds, then add cloves, black pepper, cinnamon pieces, and ginger garlic, and fry it for about 1 minute.
Add finely chopped onions and green chilies to it and fry.
Now add green peas and roast it
Put the rice in a sieve to remove excess water, put this rice in the cooker and roast it well. Now add lemon juice, salt as per taste, and 1 cup of water and mix.
Close the lid of the cooker and cook it on medium flame till 3 whistles. When cooked, remove the cooker from the gas and let it cool down.

Step 3
Make Cheese Pulao

When the cooker cools down, open the lid.
In another frying pan add one tablespoon of oil and add paneer cubes, add cooked rice, and mix well.

Step 4
Serving method

Now your paneer pulao is ready, garnish it with chopped coriander and serve hot with raita, pickle, and papad.

Suggestion

You can also use a variety of vegetables in your Paneer Pulao.
Choose old basmati rice for pulao, it will be different and grainy.
We have used oil in our recipe, you can also use pure ghee if you want.
